Completely
restored in the early 80's the beautiful villa was spared no
time or expense in it's graceful architectural design. The
collection of antique furnishings have been collected for the
Victorian Villa throughout the years, including slate roofing
from an old Charlotte church, brass stair railings and various
sets of French doors. Additionally, old bricks, beams, ginger
bread trim and beautiful stained glass have been salvaged from
various old homes and buildings throughout the east coast.
The antiques were collected from around the country
and added them to other antique furnishings that they
originally purchased with the villa. Come and enjoy the casual
southern hospitality as provided by the innkeeper, Todd Hutcheson. Todd and the staff will make your
visit a special one, a visit that will allow you to savor the
serenity of a bygone era.
A Texas tour boat was
purchased and restored to offer guests guided tours of Lake
Wylie. Also, a canoe and paddle boat are available for guests. |
